St. Mark’s could have been built anywhere, yet its founders chose Jane Furse deliberately, believing Sekhukhuneland deserved a centre of excellence rooted in dignity, opportunity and faith.

In 1992, this journey gave rise to something enduring: The Strength of St. Mark’s, formed by the pioneering Class of 1990. They were the first to return not as former learners but as custodians of the school’s future. What began as a small circle of committed alumni has grown into a powerful community of supporters who carry the school’s legacy into the world and bring their commitment back home.
